The number of applications continues to increase. The number of Vans in every estate carrying out work from Renovations ,extensions, New windows and doors, new boilers, carpentery, electrics, etc. All good shows that our economy and the building and construction is back and healthy. But be careful some of the vans are bogus , and are just checking out homes for suitable robberies later. Again more new developments in Ballycullen area. Surprised to see Hermitage Sports Hospital being refused permission, thought we needed more beds of any type even if these are private. Big developments continue at Adamstown and continue to increase the house numbers for the near future. However, with more developments in Ballycullen, Scholarstown, Old Court, Edmondstown what is being done about the traffic. We fear nought. Come and join a small group of active people in Knocklyon Network who want to fight for better traffic and transport for South South Dublin, contact us at knocklyonnetwork@gmail.com. There is also the Part 8 for Templeogue Village, what do they mean by Gates? Again Villages get the spend, this is Council policy , hope they don’t ruin Templeogue like they did Rathfarnham Village.
