Can anyone explain to me the legality or correctness of the procedures with regard to Planning.  Like you make an applicatiion for say 200 houses on a site.   You are turned down but appeal it to An Bord Pleanala. They Grant permission with conditions.  Then you go back to the Council 3-6 months later and amend the application to include an extra 20-40 houses but do not have to go back to ABP who gave you permission.  Seems strange to me and full of irregularities. This week, an interesting proposal on the Ballyroan Road of accommodation for the Elderly.  Buglers get one of their applications through. Still a lot of extra houses being built alongside existing houses.   Also two successful applications to turn a house into two homes.
