Knocklyon Network held their Annual Business Breakfast on Tuesday Morning the 7th of February.   It was held in the Iona Centre at 7.00 AM ,for which we are very grateful to Director Debbie Moore for her time and for use of the Venue.   It is an opportunity for the Network to give back something to those businesses who support us by paying for their presence on our website.   As well as all the businesses being invited , we also invite our Politicians, Residents Associations , School Principals, Club leaders and of course our own members.

Those attending had plenty of time to Network and enjoy an early morning Breakfast provided by our Supporters in SuperValu. There was then a presentation of the Network achievements over the last year. This was followed by a very interesting and amusing talk by one of Knocklyon’s celebrities Ray Bates former CEO of the National Lottery.   Then Kate Ruddock of the SEAI gave us a brief overview of the Sustainable Energy Community of which Knocklyon Network is a member.

This was followed by four short presentations by some of our businesses.  Darragh O’Connor of SJ O’Connor Finance was first to speak on Financial Matters.  This was followed by Helen Smith from Tree Top Acupuncture who told us about all the benefits of Acupuncture.  We then had Robbie Clifford from RC Video who spoke about Videos and Drone-Videos for both events such as weddings and parties as well as commercial selling.   Finally, Peter Russell from Merrion Vaults presented on their facility for secure storing Deeds, Jewellery, Stamps, documents etc..

So we came to the end of another Business Breakfast.  It was great to see some of the familiar faces from Knocklyon. Ita Corduff representing St. Colmcilles Primary., John Mc Kennedy St. Colmcilles Comunity College, TD’s John Lahart and Colm Brophy, Councillors Ronan Mc Mahon and Francis Duffy and many of the businesses and Residents associations from Knocklyon.
