If YES, why not take part in this exciting Introduction to Care Skills Course?
The course will allow you find out more about the area of healthcare and employment opportunities in the sector.
It is ideally suited to people interested in working as a carer for the elderly/ incapacitated or people considering a career in related healthcare positions.
Opportunities will be provided for participants to explore a selection of subjects which are required for certification in this profession.
Participants will receive information and advice on topics such as grants & fees and next step options.
Guest speakers and potential employers in Healthcare will be invited to give workshops during the course. In addition, students will have the opportunity to receive a certificate in Manual and Patient Handling.
This course will give you the opportunity to get a ‘taste’ of subjects required for a FETAC course in Care area and you will be supported to apply to FETAC Level 4/5 Healthcare courses if you want to.
