We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past few months. We have worked very hard on your behalf to make Knocklyon a more beautiful place but it’s only the start!.
We are appealing to You to become volunteers/members and come along to join our clean-ups. Let us together enjoy an hour or two to volunteer for your community, get to chat with other members in working together for the common good. We would like to create an inclusive community where we foster a spirit of community , engagement, enjoyment and wellbeing. It’s a nice way to be active, actually seeing that your efforts makes a difference and getting to know a band of wonderful people developing your network of friends. We encourage everyone to come out and support your local Tidy Towns community.
Our next Clean-up will be Templeroan Estate on: Saturday, 7 December 2024 from 10.00 am.
There is lots to do and with your help we can get so much more done. Our aim is to engage everyone in Knocklyon to assist in the Clean-ups for the benefit of the community and adopt “together we can approach” enhancing the environment and establishing a sense of pride and willingness to help each other no matter where you live in the area.
With your help and support on Saturday, 7 December we would like to:
1. Collect Litter
2. Cut the edging on all sides of the big green as you enter Templeroan Estate and footpaths.
Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we will see lots of you out supporting our efforts on Saturday 7 of December.
