Home Instead Rathfarnham have a number of vacancies for Caregivers in the Knocklyon area to care for Seniors in the locality. The duties include, assistance to get up in the mornings, help with a shower, help to prepare the breakfast and ensure they take their right medications. We also help with some light house keeping and grocery shopping. In some instances we go back to the client at Lunchtime and help with preparing and serving the Lunch or Dinner. We may also come back later in the evening to help the client get ready for bed. We are flexible to work around our Caregivers availability.
Being a Caregiver is a very rewarding role and there is flexibility of hours and training provided. Our Caregivers go from client to client for either 1 hour or 30 minute shifts so it would be a benefit to have transport i.e. Car, Bike or Scooter.
